SAGA Business Transitions to NYK SAGA AS

Effective 1 October 2026, the SAGA business transitions to NYK SAGA AS (formerly Saga Shipholding (Norway) AS), organisation number 988 148 725.

The transition forms part of the integration of the SAGA business into the NYK Group and marks an important milestone in the development of our company.

As part of this transition, Saga Welco moves to an owner-operator business model. The vessels will be owned and operated by NYK SAGA AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the NYK Group.

From 1 October 2026, contracts and business arrangements relating to the SAGA business are transferred to NYK SAGA AS, which will become the contracting and operating company going forward.

While the legal and operational structure is changing, our commitment to customers, suppliers and business partners remains unchanged.

Our operations, services, management team and day-to-day contacts remain the same, and the business will continue without interruption. Customers and business partners will continue to work with the same operational teams and contact persons as before.
